The Jade Emperor apears in many ancient fairy tales,He was said to of been born the crown prince of the kingdom of pure felicity , majestic heavenly light and ornaments.At birth he emitted a wonderous light that filled the entire kingdom,.his childhood was full of wonders and much learning.As a mortal he spent much of his time helping people of his kingdom.He became a good warrior fighting many battles agaist evil beasts and demonds.
When he gained his place as an imortal he became the taoist ruler of heaven and all realms of existenceThis encluded the realm of man and hell.According to a version of toast mythology he is one of the most important gods of the chinese traditinal religion pantheon.The Jade emperor's court mirrors the earthly court in all ways having an army, a bureaucracy, a royal family and parasitical coutiers.
